I've been enjoying this soundtrack lately, and came here to peruse some track names.
Track 38 on Disc 1 is 一級死神デス子ちゃん. We have that as First Class Death God Deadly Deadlene. Where does that come from? 一級 is indeed first class, and 死神 is a death god. After that, though, is デス, which is Death, 子, which is a child (usually a suffix, used in names a lot), and ちゃん which is the honorific -chan... not really seeing "Deadly Deadlene" anywhere. Something like First Class Death God Little Miss Death seems more along the lines of the Japanese, though I'm not quite happy with it... but really wondering where "Deadlene" comes from. |
