I don't believe she posted this on her bio or works list on her site (which is down now ;__;), but on her blog and Facebook, Fujita says that she was employed by SNK for a year to start her career.
The only game she lists as a work is Mad Chaser, for which she says she did music and sound effects. Last edited by CHz; Sep 22, 2012 at 09:17 PM. |

Where are you getting Mad Chaser from?

Oh it's Mad Crasher, sorry. Typo on my part.
The association came from Facebook. I guess I'll post her works list from there, since it's no longer available from her site: Quote:

She also did the soundtrack to Ide Yosuke Meijin no Jissen Mahjong (with Manami Matsumae doing one "classical song").
oh, she did the Tomba! soundtrack all by herself. Nao Hatsutani is credited alongside her, but Harumi told me it was more of an apprenticeship type role, and Nao didn't write anything. (not sure if I've told this board this) Last edited by dissident93; Dec 7, 2013 at 05:50 AM. |

https://www.usgamer.net/articles/manami-matsumae/page-2 So my question is, which track do you think Junko Tamiya composed, based on the style of the track? https://www.zophar.net/music/nintend...jissen-mahjong Maybe Track 4 sounds the most like Junko Tamiya? Almost sounds like Gun.Smoke? Track 2 must have been Manami Matsumae's "classical" piece -unless she was referring to Eastern classical music. dissident, if you're still in touch with Harumi Fujita, could you ask her which tracks were hers from the zophar link? And if she knows which tracks were Junko's, Manami's, and whoever else might have been involved? |

I only ever contacted her once (to clarify the Tomba credits), so I couldn't help with that. I'm also pretty unfamiliar with Tamiya's style, so I don't even think I could speculate as to what she did.

Unfamiliar with Tamiya?? You gotta check her stuff out! She's one of the best of the Capcom composers and actually one of the best composers of any company.

What was the conclusion there? Was she able to clarify which songs were hers/Hatsutani's respectively? Fun music in that game.

IIRC, she stated she was there just as "an apprentice". I believe Fujita fully composed the soundtrack, which is helped by the fact Hatsutani was never credited for music in another game (or apparently credited outside of Tomba at all.)

Per this interview, I think Fujita's credit on Ghosts 'n Goblins should be altered to reflect that she didn't work on the music.
