Japanese title (kanji) is needed too for these entries. It's anime after all.

Yeah, and the same can be said for other churned out entries. It's valid to omit the Japanese title from the Western products, but for Eastern release it's basically due.

I see that release has been added, I had spoken about this in another thread
really facultative or at submitter's appreciation?

I will always add release for animation products I create/edit entries for (as well as games of course). By adding the release, it's also clear if it's a series, movie or OVA just from release info.

So I think it's up to submitter/editor.

Although it's even more useful for multiple releases of the same anime (matter of regional broadcasting), e.g. Xam'd.

Oh and it's definitely better if a logo is uploaded too.

I had thought about a trick for anime product release
since we can't add a start and an end dates for animes, I've thought of adding two releases
- one for a start date (with an "Episode 1" as first date)
- one for an end date (with an "Episode #" as last date, and a total number of episodes in the notes)

We just need start/end date like for birth/death of artists or joining/departure date for unit members. Would be much better than any hacks

probably, but it must be coded (whereas my method doesn't need more coding)
I wish more details for products, because "Video" is too vague

not necessarily a real complex organization but instead of "Video" something like "Animation" and "Movie"
