EAC does not recognize track 16 as data or whatever it is therefore no need to list it as being a track. It is just a bonus which can be recognized only by proper programs or OS's , i.e. Windows.
lol. It looks like we created the new tracklist simultaneously Secret. hehe We need to delete the old tracklist, getting some constraints, i.e double entries as being both English tracklists. Solved the problem after I renamed the old tracklist as "English 2", interesting. Last edited by Metroid; Nov 7, 2009 at 02:14 PM. |

So, are you sure that EAC doesn't detect the data track at all? That seems kind of odd, at least in terms of the experience I've had with that tool.

Yes it is kind odd, promotional releases are kind odd. Sure sure? no I'm not cause EAC has different versions, the only thing I'm sure is, the EAC version I'm using does not detect the thing and in the accuraterip database it matches as having only 15 tracks. So Let's say I do not have only EAC to back me up on this one and yes the accrip database too. The DiscID is from ACC database anyway.

All Right, It looks like EAC detected the thing.
Code:
TOC of the extracted CD Track | Start | Length | Start sector | End sector --------------------------------------------------------- 1 | 0:00.00 | 3:20.19 | 0 | 15018 2 | 3:20.19 | 4:08.35 | 15019 | 33653 3 | 7:28.54 | 4:39.40 | 33654 | 54618 4 | 12:08.19 | 2:32.35 | 54619 | 66053 5 | 14:40.54 | 2:05.63 | 66054 | 75491 6 | 16:46.42 | 4:23.38 | 75492 | 95254 7 | 21:10.05 | 1:34.35 | 95255 | 102339 8 | 22:44.40 | 5:18.09 | 102340 | 126198 9 | 28:02.49 | 3:43.28 | 126199 | 142951 10 | 31:46.02 | 4:06.47 | 142952 | 161448 11 | 35:52.49 | 6:12.56 | 161449 | 189404 12 | 42:05.30 | 5:22.05 | 189405 | 213559 13 | 47:27.35 | 4:34.00 | 213560 | 234109 14 | 52:01.35 | 4:33.08 | 234110 | 254592 15 | 56:34.43 | 5:03.57 | 254593 | 277374 16 | 64:10.25 | 0:13.56 | 288775 | 289805 It seems when the data track is at the end of the disc things work or bug differently or maybe EAC has a detection bug concerning some data tracks and the Accurate-rip DB goes along the same way. That is the reason why the DiscID is in the ACC database. EAC does not rip data tracks unless I'm missing something. I need to use isoBuster to do that and leave it as a data track. The good thing is the experience we gained here. I fixed the other tracklist and set it to default. I was thinking about, maybe we could leave both tracklists, for example my case, why should I keep the data track since is not a track after I ripped the disc? Leaving both tracklist online here at VGMdb means that I could rely on the second tracklist that does not contain the data track to retrieve the info from VGMdb Freedb. We could add that functionality for cases like this one. Tracklists with data tracks and tracklists without data tracks, that would be a great feature. The tracklist without data tracks could be named as English NDT = "No Data Tracks". Last edited by Metroid; Nov 7, 2009 at 03:51 PM. |
