There's a couple of misconceptions about the song/game distribution on this release, which are:

1. Tracks 1~30 are Custom Robo, Tracks 31~ are Custom Robo V2. (vgmdb)
2. Disc 1 is Custom Robo, Disc 2 is Custom Robo V2. (other places)

neither is correct, and I don't understand where that information comes from. There are songs from both Custom Robo and Custom Robo V2 spread across both discs, and many of the songs are actually shared between the two games (which would explain the convenience of compiling them together on one soundtrack release.)

I've been working with the USF rips today. I've tagged both sets based on these discs. Here's a breakdown of the songs and which game(s) they appear on.

A few other interesting points:
There's no Yasui songs on Custom Robo, he did not compose for the first game at all, only V2.
There's one song that's on both games that isn't on this release (seriously can't find it, the SEQ filename is l_map, so perhaps it's Map screen music of some kind.)
Some of the songs sound a good deal different to their ingame counterparts. Not enough for a remaster classification IMO, but worth noting.

Well, the misinformation probably came from here:

http://candypop.hormone.co.jp/omcp_5_6.html

It's generally correct, except it missed that the Battle tracks are from both games, and that some of the tracks from V1 are used in V2 (and track 105 is the odd one out).

301,000 yen for this album is crazy. In 2017, I paid 23,500 yen for a complete copy.
