Okay, I'll ask. Why the change? I took the romanization from the official manga:

I took from anime official site that is closer than manga since this is a release for the anime

Is it actually romanized somewhere on the site (like on an image or something)?
Because they also have these sites: http://www.kyousogiga.com/ http://www.toei-anim.co.jp/sp/kyousogiga/ |

http://www.kyousogiga.com/ auto-redirects to http://www.kyousougiga-tv.com/
also, first result on google for 京騒戯画 アニメ has http://www.kyousougiga-tv.com/ even twitter uses https://twitter.com/kyousougiga_tv |

They'd actually been using that domain since 2011 (for the first two anime). It only started redirecting back in July when the TV series got announced. I don't know, they're pretty inconsistent. There's a pic on their Facebook where it's romanized as Kyousogiga (one word). And then you see Crunchyroll has it as Kyousougiga (one word again).
Maybe it's better just to wait and see what's printed on the BD/DVD or soundtrack. |

kyouso is quite incorrect as a romanization tho
it's like writing toukyo (or tokyou) instead of tokyo or toukyou you can either remove all the deaf u or use all the u, but certainly not one u / 2 Last edited by Phonograph; Nov 13, 2013 at 11:29 AM. |

There's also some merchandise with Kyousougiga as one word (look at the first two shirts). SO probably better to change the title to Kyousougiga without a space? Especially if they've used it before and CR is using that also (which should mean that they've been told to use that form).

from the moment there's not only one u, space or not I don't mind
bd/dvd releases could not have a space you omitted the 4th one? not stuck ;p Last edited by Phonograph; Nov 13, 2013 at 11:27 AM. |

I'm not 100% on a few of my translations, namely 08, 09, 14, 15, and 29.

where does that title translation come from?

I'm not sure it's a good idea to translate 鏡都, it reads Kyoto
(esp. when the tracklist has different translations) |

It should be Kyoto, IIRC it wasn't translated in the official subs either. Sometimes it was referred to as 鏡の都 (Kagami no Miyako) which I think was translated as Looking Glass City.

Not exactly untranslated, the episode one subs were:
Spoiler:
After that however, it was referred to as "Looking Glass City" until the show's end (when the characters pronounce it as Kyoto). Also, the episode descriptions do use "Looking Glass City" as a name a lot. Discotek is doing the English BD/DVD release and I don't think they'll change the subs (if they didn't release it already, last I've read something about it was in March on their Facebook page). |

Mh, that's probably the dialogue I was remembering, thanks for checking it out better. I wish crunchyroll didn't block the show in my country and I could have checked the episode descriptions :\
