Painful. I'm not sure whether "GioGio" is a small joke by Araki (since it's the character's name) or a small joke by Capcom.

So what's the rationale on changing the name of the album and product to GioGio? Is it just the URL name, or is there something more?

I think it should be GioGio, as in this seems to be related to the fifth story arc of JoJo manga, where the main char is named Giorno Giovanna. And the arc is based on Italy, thus the italian names I guess.

Even though the main character is GioGio, I'd think the series name as a whole would remain as JoJo.

However, it seems Capcom was going to release the game in the west as "GioGio's Bizarre Adventure" but it was cancelled (1, 2), so it's valid too I guess.

I checked a bit and the manga itself doesn't seem to romanize the title.

Regardless, an alt name with JoJo for searches would be nice.

Actually, japanese wiki has LE BIZZARRE AVVENTURE DI GIOGIO Parte5 VENTO AUREO as title also, alongside the japanese name.

So, GioGio it should be, and definitely alt name with JoJo.
