Might as well point out there is a iTunes release that for some reason has less tracks, if somebody can look into it.

According to the official webpage, this release has a bonus track, so I guess this is not a reprint so to speak? If it's "Botschaft", it may be coming from Vielen Dank.
Edit: Okay, so actually the bonus track was recorded in Milan along with the FFXIII Piano Collections album. We need to separate this entry from the parent album, I guess. Last edited by Zanasea; Jul 6, 2010 at 04:55 AM. |

Son of a bitch. I own the original, and now I need to get the reprint for ONE track if I want to be a SaGa and/or Hamauzu completionist.
Damn damn double-damn. |

I don't have the disc but the scans don't seem to indicate - where does the info on the bonus track come from?

It's in Booklet 01-02.

So I thought I did this research before, but I looked everywhere and couldn't find it. So I did it all from scratch again.
As everyone knows, the track titles leave us with NOTHING to go on. So you have to listen close to figure out which song from the OST they're arranging. In a handful of cases, you can point to multiple songs since they use the same melody. In any case, here goes... Song equivalencies from the OST: 01 - "a" 1 -- Einsamkeit (3-11) 02 - "a" 2 -- Tobel (2-11) / Seelsorge (2-13) 03 - "a" 3 -- Zusammentreffen (1-20) 04 - "a" 4 -- Untergrund (1-22) 05 - "B" 1 -- Botshaft (2-20) / Rosenkranz (1-06) 06 - "B" 2 -- Wasserjungfer (1-12) 07 - "B" 3 -- Reminiszenz (2-08) 08 - "B" 4 -- Variation (2-01) 09 - "B" 5 -- Arrangeur (3-07) 10 - "Y" 1 -- Aussenwelt (1-03) 11 - "Y" 2 -- Interludium (3-01) 12 - "Y+" 1 -- Zufall (3-13) 13 - "Y+" 2 -- Heimatlose (1-17) 14 - "Y+" 3 -- Rückerinnerung (2-17) 15 - "+4" 1 -- Elfenkönigin (2-25) 16 - "+4" 2 -- Tiefe (2-03) 17 - "+4" 3 -- Weihalter (1-28) 18 - "+4" 4 -- Postludium (3-21) If anyone thinks this is worth adding to the notes section of this album (in all forms) I can do so. Just give the word. |
