Since Konami is useless for this stuff, credits time: (*** WIP ***)

----------------------
Salamander (AC)
- SOUND EDITOR: YOSHIAKI HATANO, MIKI HIGASHINO [credits are JP only]
> Composer: Miki Higashino
Per various liner notes, Higashino was the only composer.

Life Force (AC)
- SOUND EDITOR: YOSHIAKI HATANO, MIKI HIGASHINO [credits are JP only]
> Composer: Miki Higashino
Same.

Salamander 2 (AC)
- SOUND DESIGNER: YOU TAKAMINE, NAOKI MAEDA
> Composer: Naoki Maeda
Liner notes, as usual.

Salamander Deluxe Pack (1&2) [PS]
- SOUND: YAMANE(KAI), AKI, AKIRA YAMAOKA, MIDNIGHT ZOMBIE
- MOVIE SOUND: MIKI-UP, SUZUKI KYOUTA, AKIRA YAMAOKA
> Yamane(Kai) should be Kiyohiko Yamane (similar credit in Gradius Deluxe Pack)

----------------------

Salamander (NES)
- MUSIC BY: S.SAKAMOTO, S.TERASHIMA, H.MAEZAWA, A.FUJIO
> Shinya Sakamoto, Satoe? Terashima, Hidenori Maezawa, Atsushi Fujio
Probably all of them worked on it, but who knows. Maezawa *doesn't* list the game on his site, though the list is very small anyway.

Salamander (MSX)
- (no staff?) Masahiro Ikariko, Motoaki Furukawa [info 1, 2]
Furukawa lists the game on his site, plus comments on KICA-1046~7 for Salamander MSX ending.
IKA-chan comments on the liner notes here (doesn't say exactly what he did).

Salamander (PCE)
- SOUND DESIGNER: H.MURAOKA
While the name looks suspiciously like K.(azuki) Muraoka, this may be other guy, because H.Muraoka was credited for other PCE ports.

Salamander [X68]
- SOUND EDITOR: YOSHIAKI HATANO, MIKI HIGASHINO
Surely ported by other people, these are just reprise credits.

----------------------

TwinBee (AC)
- ?
> Wikipedia: Shigeru Fukutake, Yoshinori Sasaki
> Shooting Gameside Vol.3: Yoshinori Sasaki

Moero TwinBee (FC DS)
- ? [- 1986]

Moero TwinBee / Stinger (FC / NES)
- MUSIC BY: CHARLEY SADA [Stinger -1987]
SPECIAL THANKS: ..., RUSHER SHINYA, BRILLIANT SATOE, GIANT KEN, YAMAKO, ...
- MUSIC BY: RUSHER SHINYA [Moero TwinBee -1993]
SPECIAL THANKS: ..., PAPA HITOMI, MAMA CHAN, GIANT KEN, N A N !!
> Kyohei Sada, Shinya Sakamoto, Satoe Terashima?, Ken ?, Kinuyo Yamashita
My understanding is that Stinger credits the original staff, while Konami deleted some names since they left the company for the FC Moero TwinBee port.
In KEC, "final boss" comments on the track, on behalf of the original composer (Sada or Yamashita?).
Yamashita lists the game on her site.
Not sure who "Giant Ken" (Kenichi Matsubara? Masae Nakashima?) is.

TwinBee 3 (FC)
- SOUND: A.Fujio, H.Funauchi, K.Suzuki [en?]
- SOUND: SUKENOMIYA, FK-KING, FLAMINGO * [jp?]
> Atsushi Fujio, Hidehiro Funauchi, Katsuhiko Suzuki
Fujio probably did the ending (KEC, though it isn't splicitely stated.

TwinBee da!! / Pop'n TwinBee (GB)
- SOUND DESIGN: Mr. FUKUTAKE, N. GUSHIKEN, M. OOUCHI
- ASSISTANT SOUND: A. ITOH
> Shigeru Fukutake, Noriko Gushiken, Masanori Oouchi, Akiko Itoh

TwinBee da!! (PSP)
- SOUND SECTION: MANABU NAMIKI, AKIRA SAITO, TAKEHIRO KAWACHI
> Composer: Manabu Namiki
Reportedly (jp wiki, etc) by Namiki. Makes sense, since Namiki alone composed other of M2's regurgigames. I think the other two are just M2 staffers and never composed.
This isn't listed on Namiki's Basiscape page though.

-----------------------

Deta na!! TwinBee / Bells & Whistles (AC)
- SOUND DESIGN: H. MAEZAWA, M. YAMANE, M. NAKASHIMA
> Composers: Hidenori Maezawa, Michiru Yamane, Masae Nakashima
Liner notes confirm composition.

Pop'n TwinBee (SFC)
- [EU] SOUND-DESIGN: KAZUHIKO UEHARA, IKA CHAN, KEROPPY! INOUE, TOMOYA TOMITA, NOBUYUKI AKENA, [incomplete]
SPECIAL-THANKS: ..., CHIRU-CHIRU YAMANE, VAP UEKOU, SONOSUJI MORIMOTO, ...
> Composers: Kazuhiko Uehara, Masahiro Ikariko, Tomoya Tomika, Nobuyuki Akena, Masae Nakashima, Saiko Miki, Michiru Yamane, Harumi Ueko, Yukie Morimoto
Liner notes, Keroppy only did programming.

Twinbee Yahho! (AC)
- サウンド (Sound): 118, シタール妹尾 (Sitar Senoo), エンゾニック前田 (Ensoniq Maeda), (spaces), 山根ミチル (Michiru Yamane)
> Composers: Akihiro Juichiya, Kazuhiro Senoo, Naoki Maeda
Liner notes, doesn't seem Yamane composed anything here, while the other three definitely did.

-----------------------

TwinBee (FC)
- (no credits)

TwinBee (MSX)
- ?

Deta na!! TwinBee (X68000)
- SOUND DESIGN: M.IKARIKO, Y.TAKAMINE, K.KINOUCHI
> Composer: Masahiro Ikariko, You Takamine, Kaori Kinouchi
Liner notes, 'composer' is a bit of a stretch tho...

Deta na!! TwinBee (PCE)
- SOUND: METAL YUHKI, KIYOSHI MU
> Mikio Saito, Kiyoshi Murai

--------------------------

Thunder Cross (AC)
- SOUND DESIGN: NYANPY J-KANE, PROPHET FUKA
> Composer: Seiichi Fukami, Junichiro Kaneda
Liner notes, J_KANE only did the boss BGM

Thunder Cross II (AC)
- SOUND DESIGNER: METAL YUHKI
> Composer: Mikio Saito

Space Manbow (MSX2)
- SOUND: T.SEKITO, K.UEHARA, Y.MANNO
> Music Composed by Tsuyoshi Sekito, Yuji TECHNOuchi, Michiru Yamane
>Sound Effects by Y,Manno
> Sound Programmed by Kazuhiko Uehara
Credits provided by Technouchi himself.

---------------------------

Flak Attack / MX 5000 (AC)
- MUSIC COMPOSER: Y.UNO, T.OGURA
- SOUND EFFECTS: H.SHIKAMA
> Composer: Y. Uno, Tsutomu Ogura
Y.Uno's first name unknown.

A-JAX (AC)
- SOUND: Y.UNO, M.FURUKAWA
> Y. Uno, Motoaki Furukawa
Furukawa lists the game on his site, and apparently did the ending (KEC).

Trigon / Lightning Fighters (AC)
- SOUND EDITOR: K. MATSUBARA, K.YAMANE
> Kenichi Matsubara, Kiyohiko Yamane
Matsubara probably did compose the ending per KEC. I'm not sure if Kiyohiko Yamane ever composed though.

-----------------------

XEXEX (AC)
- SOUND DESIGN BY: H.MAEZAWA, M.FURUKAWA, S.MIYAWAKI, A.HASHIMOTO
- SOUND DESIGN BY: CARON QUEEN, MICHAEL OLDRIVER, ROSETTA STONE, SHANGHAI MANMOS [not sure from which version these names originate, but they are in YT)
> Hidenori Maezawa, Motoaki Furukawa, Satoko Miyawaki, Ayako Hashimoto
Liner notes, Furukawa and Miyawaki definitely composed. The others, maybe?

Axelay (SFC)
- SOUND PROGRAM: A. FUJIO
- EFFECT&ENDING-1: AKI
- MUSIC COMPOSE: TARO
- ST2-REMIX: M.C.ADA
> Composer: Taro Kudou, Akira Souji/Akiropito (ED only), Masanori Adachi (ST2 boss only)

---------------------------

Falsion (FC DS)
- SOUND BY: SAKAMOTO, TAKENOUCHI, FUJIO
> Shinya Sakamoto, Shigehiro Takenouchi, Atsushi Fujio
Per KEC liner notes, Yuji Technouchi says the ending was composed by 'other' Technouchi. The only man that fits the criteria would be Shigehiro Takenouchi.

Gyruss (FC DS)
- サウンドクリエイト (sound create): 藤尾 玩具 (Omocha Fujio), 坂倉 牛乳 (Gyuunyuu Sakakura), 上高 楽器 (Gakki Uekou)
> Atsushi Fujio, Yuichi Sakakura, Harumi Ueko
Ueko confirms in KEC he did BGM.

Crisis Force (FC)
- SOUND: K.MATSUBARA, Y.MANNO, J.CHUUMA
> Kenichi Matsubara, Yasuhiko Manno, Jun Chuuma
Matsubara arranges the ending here, but in the liner notes he doesn't specify if he was the original composer.
GMCL says J.CHUUMA is Jun Chuma, minor composer (more).

Tobe! Polystars (AC)
- ?
> Composers: Kazuhiro Senoo, Naoko Ishii, Hiroshi Tanabe
Complete credits here

-----------------------------

Vic Viper (AC)
- ? (unreleased, so impossible to know)
> Liner notes, staff from "Gradius II Gofer no Yabou", "A-Jax", "Xexex" and such did it? (hard to read)
> Shooting gameside vol3: Motoaki Furukawa
-----------------------------

I only added "composers" if I was pretty sure. Ie.- often Konami people were credited under "sound" but were NOT composers.
(note that the tendency was to credit first those involved in SE/programming; also Konami usually didn't credit employees who left before a game's release)
In any other cases, you decide.

Btw, by "composers" I mean the people that worked directly on the music, regardless of reprises.
(if anybody wants to gather a list of reprises and original composers, I salute you)

Konami is on a roll with their boxes, I guess Parodius is next?

Kudos for the list, Dag. Will Konami bother to provide a composer breakdown this time? As if. But wishful thinking never hurts. =\

Anyway, quite a crazy release...

Is this item still available, or is it out of print?

Does anybody know what game 5.57 is from, by any chance? From what I've seen, there weren't any TwinBee games on PS2, unless we count the cameo in DreamMix TV: World Fighters.

I've been wondering for ages, I suppose it might be some cancelled compilation or even remake.

According to the booklet, it's from a planned new entry in the series that was in development around 2005, but was cancelled.
