I suspect my browser (Opera) may be the cause of this, but when I pasted the download link for Maldita Castilla, and pressed "Submit", I got automatically redirected to said page. Went back and pasted the link again, resulting in the same behavior. I reached for the Backspace key and refreshed the page, and found both links were added to the entry. I manually added the Title and submitted the change, this time without anything weird happening.
Feel free to delete the second link from the entry, the one without title, as it seems I don't have root to do it myself |

The redirection is intended IIRC. If you don't see the added link when going back in your browser's history, then it's due to your browser's cache. So no bug here.

I thought we had a thread for suggesting new currency, but apparently not? Maybe I'm confusing it with products.
Anyway, I'm adding a release priced in Swedish kronor (SEK), so it'd be pretty cool if you could add that, please. |

I mentioned (two months ago) character limit for country field on this artist page. While this isn't a bug, it's a bit annoying limitation. Would be nice if it gets fixed.

I've added SEK and updated the length of the artist page's country field to something that shouldn't be limiting.

These albums aren't being linked to each other even though the product name is the same for all of them. The cause seems to be the quotation marks in the name.

^ fix'd, sort of... not really... but it works atm (no quotations in repr. prod. field plus a product page for anime so it still shows quotations because of the product link).

Seems like a bug:
Occurs in variations - only when the variation is completely the same as the display name (from artist's page) except for lower/upper case difference e.g. Daiki Kasho / daiki kasho. Such already linked variation will disappear from the album entry (it will revert to display name) when another artst is linked later. To recreate it: just add another artist and link it normally (no alias, no suffix) so the already linked artist with that special kind of variation will be suddenly reverted to default display name and the (album) variation will disappear from manage artist screen. Can be tried here (better so it doesn't interfere with real album entries): link the already added random artist and see how 'daiki kasho' variation disappears http://vgmdb.net/album/37896 |

How to Delete Tracklists?
|
#883
|
||||
|
||||
That can only be done by Trusted Editors or higher. Post a request for removal in the discussion thread of the album entry and someone will do it.

The fastest way would be renaming the tracklist to "DELETE" to avoid being overlooked.

I saw that "DELETE" tracklist and I deleted it
maybe that could be added in the "tracklist help" like "to delete, rename as DELETE" =) Last edited by Phonograph; Feb 21, 2013 at 11:00 AM. |

Encountered some strange behavior when submitting tracklists to this album: http://vgmdb.net/album/37803
- When I submit the tracklist in Japanese... Track 7 is completely blanked. Track 12 is completely blanked. Track 14 is partially blanked. "Last Night, Good Night(Re: Dialed)" changes to "Last Night, Good" - When I submit the tracklist in English... Track 7 is partially blanked. "Yellow (Re: Dialed)" changes to "Yellow" Track 12 is partially blanked. "D.E.N.P.A. (Re:edit)" changes to "D.E.N.P.A." Track 14 is partially blanked. "Last Night, Good Night (Re: Dialed)" changes to "Last Night, Good Night" You can reproduce this bug by copying either tracklist and re-submitting it as is. That's a known problem. Semicolons always screw up the titles because it tries to treat that portion of the text as a tracktime.

Ah, I've never had it happen before. At least that I've noticed...
Couldn't you make it so it only applies to digits? |

I've not really paid much attention to this function and sorry if that's a known stuff, but when I linked an album to all but one releases, it also stays in "Albums Common with All Releases" section. I only linked the three PS Tekken 3 releases here.
http://vgmdb.net/db/release.php?id=1173 It appears in both "Albums Specific to This Release" and "Albums Common with All Releases" sections, but methinks for one release, any album can be only one of the three category, and can't overlap them. 1) Album specific to this release. 2) Album specific to other releases. 3) Album common with all releases. |

That is because when that album was linked, you selected 3 specific releases (out of the 4) and also selected "All Releases". You need to deselect "All Releases" to get the behavior you expect.

I see. I guess "All releases" can be automatically removed from the selected items once any of other choices is selected.

I brought this up a long while ago but can you add support for https links since they don't work when submitted? Seems like it'd be easy to do.

Yeah, we don't have a recursive delete capability. I could spend the time to put it in, but the whole collection system has been begging for a redesign for a long time so it might not be worthwhile. |

The links that were submitted worked. It's just that the edit boxes were displayed incorrectly. Also, the links on the recent submissions list weren't working right. They are all fixed now.

Hmm... I seem to remember testing the links at least once so I'm not sure if really was just a case of them displaying incorrectly. Anyways, thanks for the quick fix.

I just rejected some edits to the tracklist of this album: http://vgmdb.net/album/6789.
However, on the recently updated tracklists page, it shows I undid edits on both that album and Front Mission 5's soundtrack for some reason. EDIT: I'll add (hi Phono) that all of the rejections show up correctly on the CLANNAD drama album's history page, and so there aren't any rejections in the FM5 history page. Looks like the bug is just happening in the recent edits list. Last edited by CHz; Mar 21, 2013 at 12:26 AM. |

There's something going on with the number of visitors on album pages.
It's stuck to 1 since a few days, starting with this album and on. I don't know if this also affect number of visitors on the website or page view..etc... |
