How do you recall a digital album? Is everyone supposed to mail their mp3s back?

I heard that if you bought this bundle, your download link for this and the other removed albums was wiped from your profile.

So that's how you recall a digital album.

Yup.

I downloaded before the dispute happened and the links were pulled down, so I got it.

Maybe someday they'll be made re-available. Someone needs to have a friendly chat with Bobby Prince, 3D Realms, and 2 or 3 other parties who think they own the rights to the IP.

I would suggest making a note about why it was "recalled" and when in the album notes.

Was he contacted prior to the release of these soundtracks through the bundle-thingy? It's his music, after all.

Pretty sure Prince was contacted and he was ok, but what I got from the info was that there was some other parties that did have partial rights to the stuff.

Apparently, to this day, more than a decade later, there's no concensus on who owns what with some of this stuff. GMB thought they'd gotten sign-offs from all the right people, and then *more people* popped out of the woodwork. And when they were like "okay, we can make sure you get paid a certain cut," the first parties (those who had been contacted in advance) were like "NO! THEY DON'T GET A CUT!" And then it was just a big mess rehashing debates from years ago and the GMB people were just like "we're not gonna be a part of this."

That's what I was able to eke out.

I've changed the wording in the templates if the album is digital, so now it says "pulled from distribution."

Fun stuff. They were able to reach an agreement for the game distribution, but not for its music?
