Just got this in the mail and it comes with a necklace - hence the spinecard on the right side and not left side. Why do I see copies on the web with a normal case and no necklace? Can't find any info on this...

I have the same version from PlayAsia and was suprised to find it in there!

I know there was a reprint of the soundtrack in 2000 but it had completely different cover art. Maybe the necklace was a limited edition thing. Either that or there are bootlegs circulating which don't contain the free gift.

Maybe someone else knows?

There was apparently a release with the catalog number SCD-1000, does anyone know if this is true?

I collect Dino Crisis, and I've never seen or heard of that.

If so, it would be a German release. RE3 Nemesis is SCD-2000.

It could be a cancelled release?

I've credited track 31, "Abandoned Hope" to Akari Kaida, as she has the track on her official site.

All three composers wrote liner notes on pages 3 and 4. I wonder if there's anything interesting?

I received a list of tracks from Tomozawa, which he believes he composed. It seems it's blurry to him nowadays, though.

What, this is still in stock?

https://www.e-capcom.com/shop/g/gB22471010/

Is it the first print with necklace?

The page says the listing is from 2002, but gives no real photos or information, not even the catalog number. Blind purchase...

There are indeed.

Some paragraphs from Makoto Tomozawa
Quote:

TL:
Also, this time we tried giving each dinosaur a different composer: 1 person for 1 type of enemy.
This is a a new idea we're trying. Previously, it would have been rarely attempted so as to not spoil the cohesion, but we risked the approach for this one. You could say it was an admirable success. It could be fun to compare the different types of enemies when listening.
A paragraph from Sayaka Fujita (who makes her debut with this game)
Quote:

TL:
"DINO CRISIS" was my very first job, and what a series of trial and errors, full of panic! Big panic! (haha) That's the state it was. Numerous songs were rejected, there was nighttime bug-fixing, trips to the convenience store... It was challenging, but my innate energy let me power through. In terms of my contributions, the focus was on Raptor-related songs and BGM for Rick parts, the opening and ending movies, etc., and the compositions overall are orchestra-based, incorporating elements of jazz and contemporary music to express the sensation of panic. I think this is most pronounced in the raptor-related songs.
Some paragraphs from Akari Kaida (who was added late into development)
Quote:

TL:
Of all the songs I wrote, my favourite has to be the one for the interlude movie. The song's timing with the camera switches is a better fit than I could have imagined, considering I felt it was made in a hurry.
Also, Therizino-chan's appearance and enjoyable(?) fight are both songs I made, hoping they would get the player's heart racing. Did your heart race? (haha) It's been a long time since I've had to adjust song lengths for events, so it felt fresh.
BTW, Therizino-chan would be the Therizinosaurus. I know M-36 Giant claws is for their appearance.

I don't know the game very well, so don't know where everything plays. I used Atwiki a bit to get a grip on things, but I'll leave any notes editing to someone with experience. (you also probably should take my translation with a big heap of salt and a grain of panic)
