VGMdb link image
This doesn't really apply to the DB, but it seemed to be most on topic here.
Does VGMdb have a link image of some sort? The main logo is a bit large to use as a link image, and when I shrink it, the text becomes really hard to read due to its color, the fact that it's going to be on a (relatively) light colored website, and (new) text size. I've attached the shrunk logo so you can see what I mean. Last edited by Powerlord; Apr 28, 2008 at 07:36 AM. |

I suppose I could whip up some 'official' link images for light and dark backgrounds. Maybe this weekend.

I was wondering if you'd made any progress on this? I personally suck at drawing and art manipulation in general, or I'd be tempted to just make one myself.

Here's a 100 x 35 button, larger sizes pending. Edit: 140 x 50 version. |

If/when you have bigger banners, throw that up on the main page as an announcement and ask people to spread the usage of the banners. They look awesome, Blah!

140x50 was around the size I was looking for. The "videogame music database" text is still a bit difficult to read when the image is on a light background because of the contrast, but it'll have to do.
