Ok I see that everyone falls in this error again and again and again.
Because it is of comon sense that the first page of a book is the cover, that counts like page 1, and when you open a book, the pages start right from 2 to whatever number of pages is. for example. You have a book of 10 pages. the page ten will be the back of the book, and the page 1 the cover of the book. This is been like this for centuries. You never though weir why some booklets start from page 2 insted of 1 when you open the booklet? That is why. |

I am agree with you, it should be like you say.. but we have plenty of different booklets in the database.
Some booklets have the first interior page with "0", some with "1", and some with "2". The most logical numbering would be page 2, since the front cover should be page 1. But to avoid any confusion about any missing page.. Non-numbered booklets starts with pg. 01 now. When the booklet is numbered, we just follow the numbers pirinted. |

I generally name the front page of a booklet: Booklet 01 (except when the booklet has pages numbers written inside)
I don't get how a page can be 0 (in general) if the first page inside a booklet is 0, so the previous one is what? page -1? ahah |

I do the same has you. And like Myrkul said, some booklets are aliens and don't follow that rule because the guys or are analphabet or just dumb.
My rule when I'm organizing my booklets, even if there is no numbers on the pages, I count then as the universal format "Booklet front/ Booklet 02-03" and so on. When I have booklets with the pages numbered in them I organize them as they are. I tend to be to much perfeccionist in that. PS: Page -1 is interesting XDXD |

I always use Booklet 01 / Booklet 02-03 / etc.
why? because when you click the Booklet 01 image, by using the -> of the keyboard (or whatever the key to press), you follow the order of reading like when you read a real booklet |
