Does anyone know if the music on this album comes from the PS or the Saturn? It's definitely not PSP, which I removed.

although the games are a reworked version of the Snes original, I assume the music content is equal in both ports?

(must be checked though since PS version had some nifty extra ministages in 3D).

It's definetly the same as the Saturn version. I imagine the PSX as well, since the music is streamed, though I believe the PSX one may not have the grand prix bonus stage.

Character select tune "I Wonder, Who Should I Use?" shares a similarity with Hexion select tune.

edit= no, wait, I've heard it in one Parodius, I'm sure, but might not be this one.

I assume the KC Sunshine band ripoff was totally unauthorized, but if so that is incredibly brazen to acknowledge it right on the box, for two versions of the same soundtrack, even.

It wasn't a "rip off", no more than all the other music the series uses anyway. As for being unauthorized, well who knows. Only real evidence of anything is that the PSP version of the games has some different music but even stuff like the American Patrol music in Sexy got changed, so who knows....
