just how would you put down a serious romanization? i'm not sure if the title would be "Tatsujin Ou" or "Tatsujin-ou" here.

I'll go with Tatsujinou, but I admit I generally have little idea as to letter separation. If other choices (other than ) sound better or look cooler, than please change it.

Google gives poor return for "Tatsujinou".
But better results for "Tatsujin Ou" or "Tatsujin-Ou".

Tatsujinou may be misunderstood by your average user (pronounced 'ta-tsu-ji-nou' rather than 'ta-tsu-jin-ou/oh') so I'd avoid it.
It seems "Tatsujin Oh" gives the most results in Google though.

Google also gives more results for "Interstellar"+funai over "Inter Stellar"+funai (I'm incredibly surprised that people are getting this right and that people are getting it wrong all the same), and "Darius Burst" over "Dariusburst" (though the latter is getting more by the day, which is great). Bad idea to depend on "the internet" all the time, no matter what language we're dealing with.

In retrospect, I think we should go with the one word "Tatsujinou". "Your average user" probably doesn't care about how the Japanese language works, either.

i'm an idiot. kanji is all about some compounds; romanization should take these into account, because putting everything together as one word is just silly. 達人 and 王 are essentially two separate terms, so it seems pretty reasonable to write them that way. i don't know how this could work with the nightmare that is hiragana words (that aren't tied to kanji), but maybe it's similar.

i guess that's what four years of thinking the issue over gets you! before, for some reason i had always felt that two- or three-word phrases should be romanized as one large block no matter what. i will probably never know why, though maybe i saw a lot of single-syllable words put together and thought they were too short to split up or something.
