@phono: yea i see... ok, things like tv drama, documentaries, reality shows, professional fighting events, horse races, nature shows etc. aren't acceptable vgmdb products. Do they still need to be entered in the represented products field (after all)?

but represented products... enter the name of such product anyway? I'll correct my views concerning this as necessary of course.

Just thought the represented products field is more about vgm/anime products and not about other kinds of products that we normally wouldn't accept albums from if not for notable vgm/anime artists, that's all.

So title of literally anything is ok for represented products? I remember an album which had some game or anime op/ed song and an op/ed song for a jp cooking show. Represented products field had of course title of that game or anime (can't remember exactly) but didn't have the title of that cooking show.
Don't get me wrong, I'm all for correction :D

the other track is used for advertising "Green Cola" drink. (according to joshinweb). Should Green Cola be entered as a represented product here? Or every time when checking info on some anime op/ed single if another song is used for... NHK drama (random example, seen that too) the title of the drama should be also entered?

perso, my opinion on it is anime/game in priority
but notes could say other "minor" products (I find that it could pollute the products represented in the way if you start adding all info, you could start being confused)

so, basically, I'm for having "main" products info, the rest, honestly it's more or less who cares

^ well, personally pretty much agree with game/anime priority, it's kind of strange to add title of really every (non vgmdb) product just because it's used for something and that something while not being game/anime is such a wide term :( If you do want to explain, notes are good, but represented products... rly?
