I though SEGA as a publisher was a mistake on iTunes' page because they didn't publish the game nor the physical OST. Amazon says the label is WAVEMASTER ENTERTAINMENT, which at least correlates to physical release. But JP iTunes says SEGA too, so I dunno. Could SEGA really be a publisher for this? and could they be a publisher for just iTunes but not the other places?

iTunes lists the sound recording copyright holder instead of the label (hence the ℗ symbol), which in this case is SEGA.

I would go with Wave Master Entertainment like Amazon does, since that's the correct label. See this too.

Oh good observation about the ℗ symbol, I never realized that.

So Sega published the first Bayonetta and owned all copyrights (for sound recording and whatever) and they still own those rights for Bayonetta 2 even though they are not the publishers of it. Hence iTunes shows that P symbol belongs to Sega.
But since we need the publisher then we should go with WaveMaster. Makes sense. Ok cool.
