I wonder who is doing the music for the movie. I couldn't find any credits.

Edit: Also, for Brotherhood I'd assume that Shangri-la co-production = Sachiko Miyano is the orchestrator.

Edit2: Also, the producer Kikuchi had a couple recording sessions in London earlier this year. Could be related to FF.

John Graham is doing the music from KINGSGLAIVE, with the main theme by Shimomura.

Yup, thanks. English and Japanese Kingsglaive sites have surfaced as well.

Interesting. Makes you wonder how the decision was made. I'm not a huge Shimomura fan, but I would've liked to see her do it.

Well he's worked with Square before (orchestration & additional music for Bloodmasque) so it's not as though they went with someone completely random.

Very much agreed, if only for consistency within the FFXV ecosystem.

I hope they make at least one of the official releases on CD. It makes me angry that all of XIV's discography is on Bluray - I hope its not the same with XV.

For anyone interested.
Music for anime ONA BROTHERHOOD FINAL FANTASY XV (http://www.jp.square-enix.com/ff15/brotherhood/) composed by 井上泰久 (Yasuhisa Inoue) and Susumu Akizuki.
Really nice music there, don´t know it those are original compositions or compositions from game.

Was anyone of you able to grab a copy of the Ultimate Collector's Edition of the game? Apparently, it was already sold out after 30 (!) minutes after pre-orders had opened. Square Enix, come on, this is ridiculous!

My copy came yesterday; there are about 60 tracks total on the disc. 29 of them are from XV proper, another 10 from Kingsglaive and the rest are what I can assume consists of the entire Brotherhood soundtrack as well as some trailer/promotional tracks.

I'm working on it, but not this second. Basically, unlike previous deluxe edition enclosures from Square, the only place that a tracklisting exists at all for this is on the actual blu-ray and by extension, the digital files.

Digital version organizes and tags the three sources (XV, Kingsglaive and Brotherhood) as discs 1, 2 and 3 respectively. There is an actual "cover art" included in the files and not just a jpeg of the logo on black or anything. The aforementioned bonus promo tracks are part of the 29 XV tracks. Will try to get up an actual tracklisting later today.

Edit: added.

Can you note which tracks are from which "disc"?

I had to resubmit the tracklist because the track number skipped a couple times. 30 and 39 were missing.

Like this:
29. APOCALYPSIS NOCTIS (Uncovered Trailer) - Bonus Track
31. Under Siege 2:19
32. Diamond Weapon 2:19

Was it just submitted wrong or are there a couple tracks missing?

Changelog:

- M01, changed to "Instrumental Version" per disc contents (mp3 filename, mp3 tag data, image on BD during playback)
- Per-track credits available on the id3 tags for the mp3s on the disc added to the Album Info. Note: "Artist" tag and "Composer" tag are the same for all of Brotherhood and Kingsglaive but Final Fantasy XV has a few tags with multiple artists in the "Artist" tag and unique composers in the Composer field. I can only assume this means "Composer" is "Composer" and the non-Composer artist in the "Artist" tag is the arranger or performer. This is probably a safe assumption since both of these artists are known SQEX arrangers (Mitsuhiro Ohta, Yoshitaka Suzuki). My assumption is the tracks that have the same "Artist" and "Composer" tag are Composed & arranged by the same person. Here's an image of the album and their tags, for reference: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/...3/ffxvucss.png
- Mitsuhiro Ohta might be a performer on his tracks (Guitar)
- Adjusted track time for M01 by 1 second for freedb lookup. All other tracks +/- 1s from both the mp3 files on the BD and my BD encode so close enough.

* Not sure if " - Bonus Track" belongs in the titles but I'll leave it in and/or up for discussion.

I recently acquired a copy of this. The ID3 information separates the tracks into three 'discs' within the "ULTIMATE COLLECTOR'S EDITION SPECIAL SOUNDTRACK -FINAL FANTASY XV-" album:

1 of 3: 29 tracks, FFXV soundtrack
2 of 3: 8 tracks, Kingsglaive
3 of 3: 22 tracks, Brotherhood

My questions:
1. Should the album name match the ID3 tags?
2. Should the track list (specifically the 'disc' separation) also reflect the ID3 tags?
