Thanks to the booklet pg. 1 scan we can see that the four reused compositions from the game are credited to Namco Ltd. Back then Namco Tales Studio didn't exist yet and its precursor Wolfteam was never really credited for anything. The music in Tales of Eternia was composed by Motoi Sakuraba and Shinji Tamura, of course without any per track credit given. So linking wizards, please decide what to do with this mess.

Btw, did ToE (and IIRC, ToD?) provide no individual composer name even in the staff roll?

We can consider Namco Ltd. as the variation of Namco Sound Team, but given Sakuraba and Tamura weren't part of Namco, some might feel it's odd (still, what it eventually refers to is both Sakuraba and Tamura, and one can still argue whether the artist is a formal member or not doesn't necessarily matter). I'm not sure what to do.

What's your proposal? We could just go with Sakuraba and Tamura, not adding Namco.ltd., of course.

The ToE PSX staff roll left out all of the sound staff, not only the composers. It's the only Tales game to do so (ToD had them), and it was corrected in the PSP port of ToE. Since that port did no changes to music and sound effects (and generally didn't improve the game) and there are no staff changes, only some few additions I'm perfectly sure that applies.

I don't really have a proposal to be honest. I'd have put "Namco. Ltd. (Motoi Sakuraba, Shinji Tamura)" since the former is what is actually credited on the CD and the latter indicates a group of people all of who may or may not have been involved.

Just added "Namco. Ltd. (Motoi Sakuraba, Shinji Tamura)" but linking the two individuals appears to have removed the brackets. Halp?

Yeah, "unit (artist)" only works if the unit is linked to a page. Luckily in this case, we just have to link "Namco Ltd" up with the existing Namco Sound Team page.
