I made a mistake when entering the tracklist. Officially, the track list has 7 tracks, but the disc itself contains an 8th track, with running time 1:31.
In listening to the 8th track, unfortunately I can't tell what it's from. |

Rrolack if you still own this, does your disc say "Vol.4" or "Vol.4.1" on it? The original version had a defect in track 2, and there was a second, fixed version released later with at least one extra track on it (which I think may explain the unlisted track here).

The disc on mine does in fact say Vol.4.1., and there are 8 tracks on that disc.
Interestingly, my copy also has a blue dot on the front and back cover. The dot isn't part of the printing; rather, it was stuck on there afterward. I wonder if the blue dot denotes a revised copy. None of the other NestrinG albums I own have anything like this (I own all 9 as of now). |

I changed the name of this album back to "Vol.4" from "Vol.4.1". While the disc says "Vol.4.1.", the outer packaging retains the same "Vol.4" title as the original.
This means that the album title is the same as for this album: http://vgmdb.net/album/64041 with the tracklist and notes being the distinguishing features between them. |

I don't really think that the old cover being reused should supersede the disc being updated to say 4.1. The NestrinG blog calls the fixed version 4.1 also.
Anyone else have any strong opinions on this? |

If the blog says the title of the album was changed, and there's some indication that the change was made at the time of pressing (i.e. as denoted on the disc), then I'm on board with saying the album name really is "4.1".
Most likely NestrinG didn't print new "4.1" covers because it would have been much more expensive than reusing the old "4" ones. |

Announcement post for the fixed version says the disc title was updated to 4.1: http://nestring.blog.fc2.com/blog-entry-27.html
Crossfade demo calls it "NestringII (Ver 4.1)": http://nestring.blog.fc2.com/blog-entry-28.html Both posts were published before the C84 release. (The first post also mentions that Shiuya P was thinking about adding a "seal" to the new version to differentiate it from the old one, which is probably what the blue dots on your copy are yeah.) |
