Here's mine, and not like Kilu, I don't demand more friends, I demand the old Audioscrobbler-layout back.

I know I'm missing out on the fun, but I never signed up for last.fm. If they added the Album field to their stats tracking, I'd sign up in a heartbeat. Otherwise, something like "Battle Theme" by "Motoi Sakuraba" doesn't even identify anything.

I do have an account there: http://www.last.fm/user/Rimo

Yeah, the fact it doesn't use album info can be somewhat problematic for generic VGM track titles, yet it's at least compiling the artist info to reflect the tastes and listening habits of a user.

Yep, and a few other places I suppose.

Yeah, I also think that the greatest thing about last.fm are the listening habits.

I agree though that not having the distinction of album in the main charts is a bit silly. One other example is Danny Elfman with his "Main Titles", which is in like every second album. They have the data, you just have to dig a little deeper I guess. Like so. No idea how accurate that is though.

It could just be looking up albums through the titles.

Sometimes I get in the habit of using last.fm for the sake of fun, but I feel it always represents my listening habits incorrectly.

Many times I will only listen to a track several times to see if I want to keep or delete it. Or I'm only listening it to accomplish something, not necessarily because I enjoy it. Also, it doesn't seem to want to record my iPod listens at all. And I have a lot of music I listen to on my iPod.

I will say that I like how they record play count though. Apple should implement this for iTunes, because their current method is a joke.

I've used mine for about 2 years now. I've used this site as alternative to finding songs for certain artists I don't have as well but most of the time it's tough to find. Other than that I think it's neat that it keeps track of what you listen to.

While this thread is here, has anyone found any solutions for scrobbling various emulated music formats? Some of them work off the bat (USF, SSF, 2SF, VGM/Z) but some do not (PSF(2), GSF, plus ones you wouldn't expect to like NSF/GBS/HES/SID/KSS etc.) SPC also doesn't work initially, however you can install a SNESamp wrapper to get them to work (though .rsn still doesn't unfortunately). Anything to get PSF(2) and/or GSF working would be awesome

For anyone interested, the SNESamp wrapper is available here. Just run it with SNESamp already installed, and run it again whenever you update/reinstall SNESamp in future.

Use foobar2000, problem solved. I'm not sure about all the formats, but I remember successfully scrobbling SPC and PSF files.

My Last.fm is here.

Foobar should get GSF-plugin support and it would basically play all the emulated formats. One reason why I still have winamp on my comp.

That's mine, I've only signed up earlier this year and I'm still in the process of re-ripping all of my music after deleting my old mp3 collection (I've decided to only keep digital copies of stuff I've actually paid for on my PC).
