Regarding this game and the original FDS game 'Yume Koujou: Doki Doki Panic' being basically the same game and having the same music - and whether or not it makes sense to have separate entries for each game.
The English SMB 2 wiki states "Additionally, the game's soundtrack was composed by Koji Kondo, the original Super Mario Bros. composer, and needed only a few alterations and new compositions throughout the conversion". I'm not sure we have a precedent for this situation. What do you think? |

Not entirely the same music. A few Mario tunes were added and the instrumentation is different. Isn't the precedent to deny products that do not feature the exact same soundtrack?

That's right. If it can be said that the soundtracks of the two games are different enough to warrant it, we should have separate product entries for the two games. This is what I wanted to find out, since I haven't played Doki Doki Panic myself.
