I think we need to rethink this idea, so can we put a temporary hold on adding and linking meta-franchises?

I doesn't make sense to me to have company meta-franchises. Why not use our current media-company pages as the meta-franchise and come up with a way to link products to them? Aside from companies, I'm not sure what is left for meta-franchises.

The splitting of existing franchises has created some undesirable results, as you mentioned, like Final Fantasy being split into two entries now:

I don't think this is a good solution. Most users want to see a single final fantasy.
