Probably compiled from info at the Snatcher fansite "Junker HQ"

SD Snatcher: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BbOIi6noOUI (7:15)
Snatcher was from here, although it appears from here that it might just be Ikariko. |

Could someone put in/translate the track subtitles as well? Those are a part of the track titles.

So the original PC-88 version of Snatcher has a giant dump of artist-music association at the end of the credits: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q5msQbiIujA#t=4m30s. The MSX version apparently has the exact same list: http://www.geocities.jp/bgrtype/gsl/.../snatcher.html.
It seems there were actually six people who composed music for the game. Seven if you count M.ADACHI (Masanori Adachi?), whose composition "Theme of Tara" from Metal Gear(!) was reprised. I have no idea who M.SHIRAKAWA/M.SIRAKAWA and S.MASUDA are, and "PEAR POINT" should be James Pierpont. Here are the tracks I could identify with ones on this album, ordered according to the tracklist. [1.01] "TEAM LOGO" (Slave to METAL) Composition: M.SIRAKAWA / Conversion: M.IKARIKO, K.UEHARA [1.02] "PROLOGUE DEMO" (Bio Hazard_Snatcher) Composition: M.IKARIKO / Conversion: M.IKARIKO, K.UEHARA [1.03] "THEME OF OPENING" (Twilight of Neo Kobe City) Composition: S.FUKAMI / Conversion: M.IKARIKO, K.UEHARA [1.04] "TITLE TELOP" (Evil Ripple) Composition: M.IKARIKO / Conversion: M.IKARIKO, K.UEHARA [1.06] "JINGLE BELL" (Jingle bell 2042) Composition: PEAR POINT / Conversion: M.IKARIKO, K.UEHARA, M.SHIRAKAWA [1.07] "THEME OF METAL GEAR" (Theme of TARA) Composition: M.ADACHI / Conversion: I.MIZUTANI, K.UEHARA - remix from "METAL GEAR" RC_750 1987 - [1.08] "ACTION" (Danger Dance...and Justice for all) Composition: M.SHIRAKAWA / Conversion: M.IKARIKO, K.UEHARA [1.10] "KATRINE PART1" (Innocent Girl) Composition: M.IKARIKO / Conversion: M.IKARIKO, K.UEHARA [1.13] "JOY DIVISION" (Decadance Beat) Composition: M.IKARIKO / Conversion: M.IKARIKO, K.UEHARA [1.14] "JAIME" (Theme of JAIME) Composition: M.SHIRAKAWA / Conversion: M.IKARIKO, K.UEHARA [1.16] "TITLE PART3" (Faded Memories) Composition: M.SHIRAKAWA / Conversion: M.IKARIKO, K.UEHARA [1.18] "BLOW UP TRICYCLE" Composition: M.IKARIKO / Conversion: M.IKARIKO, K.UEHARA [1.19] "MORTUARY PART1" (Morg) Composition: M.IKARIKO / Conversion: M.IKARIKO, K.UEHARA [1.20] "RESTORATION" Composition: M.IKARIKO / Conversion: M.IKARIKO, K.UEHARA [1.23] "SEARCH LIGHT" (Spreading Diehard) Composition: M.IKARIKO / Conversion: M.IKARIKO, K.UEHARA [1.24] "GOODBYE RANDAM" (Eternal Promise) Composition: S.FUKAMI / Conversion: M.IKARIKO, K.UEHARA [1.25] "TITLE PART1" (Theme of JUNKER) Composition: M.SHIRAKAWA / Conversion: M.IKARIKO, K.UEHARA [1.27] "PURSUER PART3" (Pleasure of Tension) Composition: M.IKARIKO / Conversion: M.IKARIKO, K.UEHARA [1.28] "EPIROGUE" (Beyond Sorrows) Composition: M.SHIRAKAWA / Conversion: M.IKARIKO, K.UEHARA [1.29] "ENDING 1" (Master of Puppets Among The Disease) Composition: M.IZUMI / Conversion: M.IKARIKO, K.UEHARA [1.30] "THEME OF ENDING" (We Have to Struggle for Our Future Against Our Doubt) Composition: M.IZUMI / Conversion: M.IKARIKO, K.UEHARA unidentified tracks from the album:

Should James Lord Pierpont be credited for the use of Jingle Bells here?

Yeah, he should be if Jingle Bells is on the soundtrack. Do you know which track it is?

Disc 1, track 6. The arrangement is far from traditional, though.

I translated the tracklist into English, edited the notes section and composer information, and corrected the games' platform to MSX2 (instead of just "MSX").
Edit: Oh, crap. It seems that I accidentally left off the last track of disc 3 ("CODA (エンディングBGM)" / "CODA (Ending BGM)") in the English tracklist I submitted yesterday. I can't seem to find a way to fix it aside from submitting the entire tracklist again. Would someone who's had more experience editing this site mind fixing this stupid mistake of mine? Thanks for you edits GirianSeed, that looks great. As for the tracklist, if you could re-add the full tracklist I can just delete the one with the missing track.
edit: actually i can just add it myself. Last edited by seanne; Dec 29, 2013 at 05:28 AM. |

I'll work on identifying each track according to the PC-88/MSX2 version's credits next. A few earlier posters in this thread were on the right track, but didn't get it quite down. Last edited by GirianSeed573; Dec 29, 2013 at 04:49 PM. |

Some specific composer info for SD Snatcher was added to the 2ch best VGM contest wiki by a user named "technouchi," which could be Yuji Takenouchi (I tried asking him on Twitter if it was but he didn't reply): [1]
