Could anyone tell me where exactly "Up & Up" and "The Super Threc" are heard in the game (tracks 16 and 17 respectively)?

I don't recall ever hearing them (unused, maybe?). It's been long since I played this game, so I honestly don't remember well.

Any help will be wholly appreciated.

Thanks!

Three tracks on this album are not to be heard in the game (nor in the sound test):
Up & Up
The Super Threc
Name Entry

We do not have any official informations about these.. but speculations have been made & so far the community think the 3 tracks were use in the Beta of BK.
Rumors says "Up & Up" was originally stage 7 music, but cancelled and finally it was replaced by "Violent Breathing".
"The Super Threc" could be the previous version of "Moon Beach".

"Name Entry" can't be heard in the game, the music was replaced by the "Round Clear Theme".

I figured as much that they were probably unused material, but I wanted to be sure.

And yeah, now that you mention it, the "Name Entry" theme isn't heard in-game even though you are prompted to enter your name once you beat the game. Figures.

Thanks.

Regarding the arranger Teruhei Yamasaki, Ys Music Files and another site list his name as 山崎彩平. It seems his band Cutting Edge had at least two albums released on Alfa Records, one self titled in '88 and one called All or Nothing in '89 (cat. number 29A2-52 according to mercari and others).
