I was browsing around at YJA and found this http://page18.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/w39600246
Now I'm wondering: is this album this freakin' expensive? Cause this smashes the few hopes I had of getting a copy. It's not even brand new, for god's sake! |

There is an alternative. The exact same music is on the bonus CD that comes with the Sega Saturn Thunder Force V Special Pack. There are four copies of this game on eBay right now, with the lowest starting at $80.
And the first eight tracks are all on previous Technosoft albums. I think the first four are on Technosoft Vol. 6, and the next four are on Technosoft Vol. 7. Edit: Here is the VGMDB entry for this bonus CD: http://vgmdb.net/album/8831 Last edited by Crash; Jun 18, 2009 at 02:58 PM. |

Ohh I didn't know that. That one is much more feasible, yes, thanks lots for the info.
Still, that's one quite of a pricey CD right there. |

Yeah. You're better off getting the TFV Special Pack, rather than cutting off an arm & a leg for the actual CD release. It's an excellent CD too, even though most of the songs were already released on Technosoft GAME MUSIC COLLECTION Volumes 6 and 7. In fact, I'm pretty sure the last three tracks (the arranged mixes) are the only exclusive tracks on the whole CD.

Hmm, for this particular album, "Tecno Soft" is used only in the logo... I don't think that justifies an entire alternate title which is 99% identical anyway.
The whole Technosoft/Tecno Soft thing is very silly. |

"Tecnosoft GAME MUSIC COLLECTION VOL.15" does appear right on the front cover... in the same font that "Technosoft GAME MUSIC COLLECTION VOL.15" appears on the back and disc.
Man I forgot how many hilariously minor variations of that title appeared on these albums. |

Why did they alter their company name like that, anyway? Seems a bit silly and unnecessary, unless they were merely trying to imply that their music belonged in the Techno genre (which wouldn't be the case either). Weirdness.
