If you look at the collections (click "Contained in x collections"), people stated they already pre-order the album, so they probably will have it on the release date or short time after that.

Well, I pre-ordered mine from CDJapan a couple of weeks ago. Guess I could add my name to the list... It just seems like they already have it, is all. THX for the replies!

Well, in their defense, they do have folders for pre-ordered/incoming releases. You could very well do the same; I'm certain many around here do so, including myself.

THX for the info. I'll do that as well!

I hope this OST and the upcoming Tekken Hybrid OSTs do not disappoint, although I highly doubt they will...

Here's a sample medley of some of the tracks on the TTT2 OST.

Where did the breakdown come from? The only reason I asked is because the other day, I asked Okabe if he did the Moonlit Wilderness remix and he responded with a emphatic YES!

https://twitter.com/#!/MONACA_okabe/...57834615975937

I'm still awaiting my copy in the mail, so I'll trust the breakdown until it can be confirmed.

I'm not 100%, but maybe 90% sure that that composer breakdown, especially the Sanodg and Okabe tunes, may need slight adjustment once they're compared with the OST.

If it's an unofficial breakdown, then we shouldn't be putting it on album pages.

Though i was (and still are) confident any error will be fixed soon.

It could be that those are the "original composers" tunes as well, especially the ones with single contributions. I know that Go Shiina did the remix for Snow Castle for sure, so that one is accurate, but to my knowledge, I think Tohyama only mentioned Rio Hamamoto and Go Shiina as additional contributors to the soundtrack (aside from the four names - Inoue, Okabe, sanodg, Tohyama)

Yeah, this appears to have been the case, as they were 100% correct as far as original composition goes. Didn't have arrangers, though, which do differ in a few places. Most of the tracks don't have specific arrangers listed, which I'm assuming means the composer did his own arrangement (like Shiina).

Also ahahahahahahahahahaha "IT'S NOT A TUNA!" how is there a Kindergarten Cop reference on a Tekken soundtrack

Does this album comes with a 3rd unlisted disc ? (see scans "Disc Extra")
And what is this disc contents ?

If anyone is interested, here is another set of scans, which are much more "clean", though the resolution is smaller.

I believe it's a bonus CD for ordering from Supersweep.

http://sweeprecord.com/?p=4523

※CDリリースを記念して、発売日直後の11月19日に秋葉原のイベントスペース「MOGRA」にて、参加 アーティスト本人によるレコ発クラブイベントを予定!

Maybe it's Hosoe's or Saso's Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Driving Beats mix from the commemorative event held on the 19th. Or one of the other artists' mixes. I'll see if I can find more information out. I may (or may not) get this in the mail with my copy.

EDIT: If I'm reading that correctly, the disc says "EGC PETA MIX." I know that Takahiro Eguchi does a lot of these bonus mixes, so perhaps he did a mix of TTT2 music, similar to what he did with RR3D.

Technically it isn't. But hey, who's keeping score anyway?

It is a bonus disc, according to Hosoe. I say it gets its own entry, just like the rest of the SREX catalog numbers we have.

I'll confirm if it is Eguchi or not, but EGC is making me lean in that direction.

EDIT: As suspected, Takahiro Eguchi did the EGC PETA MIX.

You (Read: SEMO) seem to have enough info and scan, so we'd appreciate you submit this (if you have time, of course).

The CD page says ships in 2-4 weeks. Perhaps they had more demand than they expected.

There's going to be another release of TTT2 ORIGINAL SOUND TRACK included with 'We are Tekken Edition' for the console versions of the game.
It's an exclusive edition from a UK retailer GAME.

Not much info about it yet, so I didn't want to make a separate entry.

Also there will be a REMIX SOUND TRACK disc included in the same edition.

I loved the Tekken 5/Tekken 5 DR soundtrack. I pretty much hated the Tekken 6 soundtrack. Will I like this?

I'm not familiar with those, but I think Tekken 6 had alot of freelancers? This is the in-house Namco team, so I thiiink you would like it. Has elements of trance, techno, and dubstep.

I personally think there has been little improvement, quality-wise, between this and the original Tag Tournament's soundtrack... I like both albums, mind, but I don't think they work well as listening experiences outside-of-game-context, there's some nice track, but I can't stand the whole album.

Tekken 6, on the other hand, proved to be rather enjoyable even on its own, I appreciated the change in style it delivered. If you're "old-school", you'll probably like TTT2.

Thanks, dissident93 and ilef. The info and comparison to the original TTT helps.
