Seems most of the ga-core interview has been lost to time, only a few of the pages were archived sadly. Sucks when useful resources of info just vanish like that.
Also not sure how well known this bit of trivia is here, but Kimitaka Matsumae was discovered to be involved with preloaded ringtones a couple of years ago, and they're bangers. His name was found within the metadata of several Yamaha SMAF ones that appeared on phones by companies like Samsung and LG. Curious about how he got involved with these, though. I think he might've did the work for a company called Music Airport, which did ringtones for Yamaha. The same company also did regional ringtones for Nokia, so he may even have done MIDI ringtones for Nokia too. |
