Got an email from CDJapan about the price dropping down 200 yen, and apparently it was also changed to 1 CD.

The number of tracks is still the same, so they aren't cutting anything at least.

31 tracks is exactly the amount of tracks available in the in game sound test from Songbooks and there are over 60 tracks in the game as a whole so this is missing a ton of music. @Zanasea I need another WAYO release!!

I'm assuming the tracklist will be identical:

Quote:
Theme from Ni no Kuni II
Happily Ever After
The Great Outdoors
The High Seas
The Boundless Skies
Evan's Kingdom
City of Hunger
Kingdom by the Sea
City of the Future
In the Kingdom of the Mice
The Toppled Throne
The Escape
Treacherous Valley
Forest of Mysteries
Deep Sea Cave
The Factory Floor
The Lost Kingdom
Let Battle Commence
Into the Fray
Boss Battle
Kingmaker's Theme
Fateful Encounter
The Final Showdown
Carefree Days
There is Hope
Painful Memories
Leavetaking
Dark Rite
The Curious Boy
Here Come the Higgledies!
To Arms!

Oof, I don't really like the sound of that. That means it's again not an complete release and we're gonna miss music, even if it's just 20 tracks or so. Means for some music we'll still have to hold on to gamerips. :/

I just have no idea why for Ni no Kuni, Frame does this, same as the first one. I guess they don't want to include or pay the other composer who worked on this too, and want to focus this CD to be an extrictly Joe Hisaishi CD to be the selling point.

Now that we got a tracklist, yes.. just what we expected. It's okay, I don't mind. But I wonder for the rest of jingles and computer-based music, how are we ever gonna find out who composed or titles, for whoever wants to do a complete gamerip?

More than likely any music not on this soundtrack was just done by the other composer, Kenichiro Saigo.

I think that the wayo release should be child of this jap release because the jp tracklist sorta matches wayo's

The set of scans looks incomplete. The last two double-pages seem to be missing, which, ironically, contain the most important information.
