I've recently acquainted myself with Masaki Sasaki's KSK works and I have to say - his music is just incredible. Time and time again I've found that, at its intoxicating best, it's imbued with a kind of infinitely uplifting spirit that I've not really come across much anywhere else.
I've now reached a point where I'm lamenting the fact that he wrote relatively so little so long ago.
Does anyone know where I can find more music similar to the style he presents in Duel/Duel Succession/First Queen? I have a very vague idea that his style is heavily inspired by the genre we've come to know as "the 80s" but I have next to no knowledge about the music of that decade. If however anyone cares to suggest specific influences that Sasaki may have had - I'm all ears, I'd love to know what you think.
