How is it that Shoji Meguro is credited as the composer of Deva Yuga, yet Hidehito Aoki is credited as the composer of the arranged version, when it's arranged by Tomohiro Emi?

Good catch. I'm pretty sure that should be Shoji Meguro. Does anyone know where these credits came from?

How sure? The track by track commentary only strongly implies Aoki had the deep involvement and Satomi was responsible for the lyric of the arrange version.

Well, not sure enough to edit the album, since none of the info came from reliable primary sources. We should probably remove the track-composer breakdown until we find something reliable.

I just noticed that one of the tracks composed by Aoki on here is called "MAJIN... FOREVER". I'm a huge fan of Aoki's work on Majin Tensei I and II, so I gave it a listen (having no real familiarity with the Persona series music until now):

it keeps feeling like it's about to move into a remix of something from MT2. I'm kind of disappointed, but it's still a nice touch.

RIP.

Not sure why, but even the non-arranged tracks sound slightly different than those featured on the Original Soundtracks. Regardless, it appears that the two soundtracks feature different titles for the same songs so I decided to pair them all together.

OST&A Titles → OSTs Titles:

01 Persona (Arrange Version) → SEBEC Chapter Bad Ending 2
02 Deva-Yuga (Arrange Version) → Deva Yuga
03 Aria of the Soul (Arrange Version) → SEBEC Chapter Good Ending
04 Fleeting Butterfly → Battle ~ Pandora
05 Touched by Misfortune, Extremely → Dungeon ~ SEBEC Underground Research Lab
06 Reiji → Reiji's Theme
07 A Girl at the Window → Battle ~ Hospital (Before the Disaster)
08 Legends Awaken → Battle ~ Awakening
09 Maki → Maki's Theme ~ Cheerful
10 NO.1 → Nanjo's Theme
11 Bright Shopping District → Dungeon ~ 1st Ward Shopping District (East Entrance)
12 TOY&JOY → Toro Confesses to Ayase
13 Child Abuse → Battle ~ Tesso
14 AIAI Shopping → 1st & 2nd Ward Shopping District (West Entrance)
15 Chisato and Her Moles → Dungeon ~ Kama Palace
16 Stillness Before... → Kandori's Theme ~ Silence
17 Dark Shopping District → Dungeon ~ Black Market
18 Electrical Energy Travel → Dungeon ~ Abandoned Factory Underground Passage
19 Mark → Mark's Theme
20 BLACK KID → Aki's Theme
21 SEBEC City → Dungeon ~ SEBEC Above Ground
22 Remembrance → Maki's Theme ~ Sorrow
23 Kandori → Kandori's Theme ~ Pathos
24 Deva-Yuga → Deva Yuga
25 Aria of the Soul → SEBEC Chapter Good Ending
26 Persona → SEBEC Chapter Bad Ending 2

01 The Snow Queen (Arrange Version) → Snow Queen's Theme ~ Main
02 Satomi Tadashi Pharmacy's Theme (Arrange Version) → Satomi Tadashi Pharmacy's Theme
03 Battle (Arrange Version) → Normal Battle
04 The Snow Queen → Snow Queen's Theme ~ Main
05 High School → Dungeon ~ School (After School)
06 Brown → Brown's Theme
07 Night Cries of the Forest → Dungeon ~ Devil's Peak
08 Ayase → Ayase's Theme
09 Between Life and Death → Battle ~ Mid-Boss
10 Satomi Tadashi Pharmacy's Theme → Satomi Tadashi Pharmacy's Theme
11 SAEKO → Ms. Saeko's Theme
12 MAJIN... FOREVER → Dungeon ~ Police Station
13 Elly → Elly's Theme
14 Sennen-Mannen Road → Sennen Mannen-Do
15 A Dense Forest...? → Time Count Event (Unused)
16 INVASION → Nemesis Tower
17 Quiet Time → Last Event
18 Battle → Normal Battle
19 Monochrome → Dungeon ~ 1st Ward School (Revisited)
20 ROSA-CANDIDA → Boutique
21 Frozen Heart → Shadow ~ Serious
22 Praise the Devil → Thanatos Tower
23 BLACK SNOW → Dungeon ~ Ice Castle
24 Night Queen → Battle ~ Night Queen
25 SNOW STORY → Snow Queen's Theme ~ Intense
26 Recollection - Departure → Snow Queen Chapter Good Ending

I have no idea which are intended to be the "official" titles since there's inconsistency regarding which titles are used in other releases.
Using "Persona" over "SEBEC Chapter Bad Ending 2" at least makes sense since it's also the main theme of the game and is reprised throughout other songs as well.

P3 FES used "Persona" instead of "SEBEC Chapter Bad Ending 2"
The PSP soundtrack uses "Black Kid" (aka "The Girl in Black") instead of "Aki's Theme," "Maki" instead of "Maki's Theme ~ Cheerful" and "Persona" instead of "SEBEC Chapter Bad Ending 2" like the OST&A, but it also uses "Battle ~ Tesso" instead of "Child Abuse" like the OSTs.
The Tatsuya Scenario from the PSP version of P2EP features the boss theme from the first game under its arrange albulm title, "Between Life and Death."
The 20th Anniversary Album primarily uses the titles from the OSTs, but the last few tracks on disc 1 ("Retrospection ~ Departure," " Aria of the Soul" & " Legends Awaken -ATLUS kozuka version-") take their titles from the OST&A albulm.
The 20th Anniversary Concert Album uses "Opening" & "Battle ~ Tesso" from the OSTs, but also has "Aria of the Soul," "Legends Awaken," "Between Life and Death" and "Snow Queen" from the OST&A.
The "PSS2019 (Special Bigband Medley)" from the Super Live P-Sound Street 2019 uses "Between Life and Death" as opposed to "Battle ~ Mid-Boss."
