Copying and pasting liner notes here because sooner or later, all websites die and neither dedicated "Internet Archive" websites nor fellow individual copy-pasters can always be relied on, particularly for niche subjects. IMO, a flaw of the Internet compared to physical publications and material, but then again, books can rot. But I digress.

By the way, is there a reason Tales of Phantasia's "Fighting of the Spirit" is credited to Shinji Tamura as opposed to Motoi Sakuraba or both? |

"Fighting of the Spirit" is confirmed as Tamura's composition in the staff room of Tales of Phantasia: Narikiri Dungeon.

Tamura also rather regularly talks about it on his blogs, twitter etc. linking to fan arrangements. It's like he composed only that one piece for Tales, I want him to confirm more...

"Fighting of the Spirit", the epitome, the exemplar track of Tales of Phantasia, didn't even come from Sakuraba?

I'm pretty sure a lot of fan favourite tracks from the Tales series are not by the composer they think it is.
