Illidan
Explain why you simplified the titles that I made referring to Front and Obi.
Are they against any title rule to be removed?
For example,

https://vgmdb.net/album/64976
https://vgmdb.net/album/64970
https://vgmdb.net/album/64971
https://vgmdb.net/album/66197
https://vgmdb.net/album/67207
.... and many others
They are fixed by you chiefly while you check the publisher Lantis.

I'm sure you've noticed, but every anime OP/ED single has that kind of title written on the obi. It's just something we tend to omit.

That's why we started using that format in the notes section instead. It's the same thing, just less cluttered.

Yes, even I am not now making titles so.
That's also good to me as such long titles are not only personally hard to manually type but also I now think it is not so great of help for search purpose.
But, if it's not specifically against the rule, I don't think they should be removed by 'tend to omit'.

I don't think they're really useful for search purposes, that's why we have a product field, product pages, and related albums.

We basically omit that information in 99% of the singles in the database, so it doesn't make sense to me to leave it there.

It's not a written rule like basically every other rule, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't try to keep things consistent.

Also consider the fact that two letter terms are omitted from search results. So terms like OP and ED aren't useful for searches.

Using both " and spacing is often useful in searching less-than-two-letter words, for example " OP ".
