Default Must-have indie titles

So I've been looking to delve into the indie scene of VGM. What are some OSTs you would recommend? So far I have checked out titles such as Dear Esther, Indie Game The Movie, Retro City Rampage, Shoot Many Robots, Bastion, Cave Story, but they didn't excite me. For reference, I enjoy titles such as Spelunky, La Mulana, Madilta Castle, The Binding of Isaac & Onslaught, but mostly due to personal playing experiences.

Hmm... Super Ubie Land?

;3

bias aside, it's really really good, great if you like Nintendo's soundtracks.

Shatter. NeoTokyo. Hotline Miami. Super Meat Boy. Faster Than Light. Pretty much anything done by WayForward as long as Jake Kaufman is at the helm, with Mighty Switch Force as a personal highlight.

Yeah, some of those are halfway between indie and whatever you call the rest of the industry nowadays.

Lots and lots of great names here. And I'm sure I could list dozens more.

But I'll start here: AQUARIA and OFFSPRING FLING, both by Alec Holowka!

So good...

The Jamestown soundtrack is pretty amazing. Besides the already mentioned (especially Meat Boy and Isaac) I also really like the following, check'em out:

World of Goo (free)
Trine
Trine 2
Nitronic Rush (free)
Shatter
VVVVVV
FEZ
Puzzle Dimension (free)

If soundtracks wanna make you play the corresponding game, you know that's a good OST.

I'm not a huge booster of the indie scene, but Souleye's releases hit the magic spot for me. VVVVVV is an essential soundtrack for me to have on my player.

I saw this thread's title and thought about replying to it to post this specific soundtrack. So now I'm seconding it.

La Mulana is a good one as well (I know the OP said he's heard it, just agreeing). Don't know if this question is still applicable months later, but... just sharing.
