Taihei Sato is listed on Unique Note's composers page: http://www.unique-note.co.jp/composer.html. So I guess he's left SuperSweep?
SuperSweep isn't actually listed in his bio (just Data East, Sammy, and Sega), but he was definitely credited as part of it on a few albums and games. |

It's good to see Unique Note has expanded so quickly.

Could this be the same "Taihei" for Minnesota Fats?

Taihei Sato spent a few years at Data East, so absolutely.

And while it's relevant, any idea who "Arma" was/is?

Unfortunately, I don't have any suggestions for him(?). Most of Data East's sound folk consistently kept to a single alias, so I would guess it's not one of the better-known composers.

It seems that Taihei Sato now works for some place called Paon (based on his Facebook page). He is no longer on the Unique Note composers page.

Paon is the rebirth of Data East. They're behind the Glory of Heracles DS game.

Was Taihei Sato even part of SuperSweep to begin with? I see he appears on NanoSweep 7, but that series had a few guest composers before (like ESTi). It feels more like he was contracted by the company for a few projects (same case with Keiichi Okabe) than actually being part of it, considering he apparently doesn't have it in his bio. Endless Ocean: Blue World is the only game I see him credited under SuperSweep.
