I ran into an odd situation with this one. I didn't realize that this, the arcade audio, was remastered for the PlayStation release of the game. So while the game does contain the same tracks they definitely sound richer in-game.

This isn't much of a shocker, I mean Capcom did the same with Star Gladiator but I mistakenly DLed this thinking I was getting the PS1 audio and I ended up getting the arcade audio.

Actually, listening to the samples on iTunes and comparing them to the PlayStation audio, this is the "ARRANGE VERSION" BGM. It's unmistakable, this is definitely not the soundtrack titled "ORIGINAL VERSION" in the game, which is the same as the arcade. This release also sounds somewhat clearer than in the game, I'd say. It's missing "Soul and Sword (SIEGFRIED stage)", "Asian Dawn (ASIA stage)", and "A Desperate Struggle (COLOSSEUM stage)" though.

I don't have that album, but if it is the original arcade soundtrack as its title says, this definitely is different.

Yes, its different from 'Super battle sound attack' which is the arcade/ost. This is the arrange as _if said, but it is quite similar to the ost, with a few tunes rearranged and mostly cleaned up instrumentation.

Ok so this is a bit hard to follow. There are a total of 3 soundtracks available for this game?

Crazy. Which version is included on the ps1 disc? There are music files available when you insert it into a cd player

I believe Nakatsuru is involved with the revamped sound as stated in the Broken Destiny best of soundtrack and in the bonus disc with SCV.
