Fantastic main theme if I do say so myself. I guess the composer is new on the scene? Have not listened to the soundtrack, but I have beaten the game. Looking at screenshots and character trophies is so much better with that main theme playing.

Nick Arundel? He's no stranger to the scene, but yeah, he hasn't scored many games, Shadow Man being the only one that comes to mind.

Anyway, great score. I recommend it; you may have already enjoyed some of it while playing the game, so... This score truly complements the game well.

Oh Shadow Man for N64? I remember playing that game. It was real good, but I don't recall the score too much.

The second game, actually: Shadow Man: 2econd Coming. He also scored Arkham Asylum alongside Ron Fish, and he also worked/collaborated on Battalion Wars for the GCN and I-Ninja for PS2, GCN, and Xbox.

After posting here I was curious to see what other games he's scored, so I went and checked over at MobyGames and found he has worked on: Urban Chaos: Riot Response, Carve, Legends of Wrestling, and XGIII: Extreme G Racing. Haven't played any of those, but I have listened to the music of the latter game, so I'm guessing he only did music for the in-game movies.

I think it's Ron's theme. He is an old composer. He has worked on numerous film-to-game adaptations — spanning Superman, Batman, and Fantastic Four, to Gladiator, Godzilla, and Black Hawk Down.

Even I think that the batman theme in AC is amazing Read this to know why.

I Think You Should Do What he Says is my other favorite. Gives off a good sense of a tense climactic situation. Most of the others are atmospheric pieces that work well in the game, but may not be that suitable for some listening outside of it.

Love this album. Lots of bass/contrabass clarinet!

I wanted to buy this recently, but it looks like Amazon is selling this soundtrack as a made-to-order CD-R only.

Quick question (which probably won't be answered since no one's posted in this in ages, but still): Was this originally sold as an actual CD release back in 2011, or has it always been sold as made-to-order CD-R?

I'm pretty sure it's been only CD-R on demand at least from 2013 for the Batman game OSTs and some other titles which WaterTower maybe believes won't sell that much to justify a normal CD release. It's quite possible this one was also just a digital and CD-R from the beginning. Note that Amazon can fail to print all the artwork as it's been the case here.

Thank you for responding. That's what I thought too. But I wasn't sure, because Discogs lists Arkham Asylum and Arkham Origins' scores as CD-Rs, but it lists Arkham City's score as a normal CD. Probably just an error on their part, but still.
