Ryo Nagamatsu (#7962)
Mario Wiki credits Nagamatsu for a few specific tracks from Mario Kart Wii ~ however, it's unsourced. Does anyone know where that information may have been obtained? Looks like the information has come direct from a specific user, so if no-one's got any clues I'll ask them.

interesting. the list doesn't look complete, so there should still be some more composers who worked on it. that is, if it's even accurate.

It does appear that Nagamatsu got A Link Between Worlds to himself, unless one of the SFX guys chipped in some music (which happens in Nintendo games): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PIWD-TG3JvQ&t=15m58s

Nintendo really needs to liaise with Yasunori Mitsuda on how to improve their jarring, tinny samples.

Nagamatsu seems to be the sole composer / arranger for the Link's Awakening remake.

Do you have a link to the full credits? Kyoto Report doesn't seem to have it yet.

Sad to see him go, as he had been a fixture of Nintendo since the Wii era, but I respect his decision. Really looking forward to his future work, as his music has always stood out to me.
Perhaps he might be open to share some uncredited work at the company now (e.g. Mario Kart Wii composer credits) |

I'm not sure he will be able to talk about past works... I remember Tomoya Tomita's case, where he credited only his tracks on his YT and Twitter before Nintendo told him to erase everything...
But crediting with words and crediting with videos are different, right... ? |
