Finally got around to listen to this cd today.
Fantastic stuff, super funky jazz, and high production quality. I recommend it to any Contra and\or jazz fan, though some songs are borderline funk. |

What a coincidence. I just got this in the mail too, and now listening to Waterfall. The cover art is as awesome as the music. Very cool stuff indeed.

So, a recent edit changed the composer to Kazuki Muraoka, who composed the SNES version. The official site for this doujin lists the composer as Hidenori Maezawa, Kyouhei Sada. Do you have some info to corroborate this edit?

I relied on the following sources:
http://www.vgmpf.com/Wiki/index.php?...ntra_%28NES%29 - Hidenori Maezawa, Kyouhei Sada are arrangers there. NES version is an arrangement of Arcade version. http://www.vgmpf.com/Wiki/index.php?...Kazuki_Muraoka - he composed music for Arcade. |

Thanks for clearing this up. So those first two only composed the Intro track.

My question would be, if these Wiki entries can be trusted at all. We know that e.g. these unofficial Rockman credits, by a notorious forums member, are now provided as "official" by one of these Rockman Wikis...

There's another element to take in consideration - I seem to recall that Maezawa and Sada are credited in the inlay of this release. And Cliff Colon was explicitly aiming at doing a NES arrange album. Make of this what you will.

I left Kazuki Muraoka only, because there is no Introduction music here (Cutscene track in NES). "Intro" track here is the "Title" track.
