Things I'd like to see covered here:
- Radiant Historia
- Gargoyle's Quest

Since Square Enix is publishing, it will only feature their own titles I'm afraid.

Should be a 20th (or so) anniversary album then.

So far according to the website it's taking stuff from Kingdom Hearts, Front Mission, Legend of Mana, and LIVE A LIVE. so ya just Squix stuff.

Maybe the "25" is just a reference to how long she's been in the business, and not necessarily an indication of the contents of the album. Since it's a Square Enix release after all I too am guessing it won't have any earlier/later stuff.

Which is a shame, since especially the 8-bit Gameboy sound of Gargoyles's Quest holds IMO a lot of potential for interesting arrangements.

But like seanne said, they will probably focus on the "big titles", which means, more Kingdom Hearts. Well, that's also fine with me. Just don't overdo it and make Destati into a second OWA...

SQEX Music should have teamed up with Capcom again to cover Street Fighter II, Last Ranker, and The King of Dragons.

Yes, she has been in the industry for 25 years. Drammatica was made to celebrate the 20th anniversary of her career as well.

I'm soooo excited for this album! I really hope she includes some SMRPG or at least Mario & Luigi music; that was absent from Drammatica, which really made me sad.

But anyway, GO YO-KO!! One of the best composers EVER (I only prefer Kondo and Mitsuda over her), and I can't wait to add this CD to my Shimomura collection!

http://www.square-enix.co.jp/music/sem/page/memoria/

The website's been updated a bit - a small pic of the cover and the fact that a Super Mario RPG track will be on there!

The track is "Beware the Forest's Mushrooms".

if s-e was honest, they would change the date to 20th anniversary and release it in september (live-a-live, sept. 1994)
but because of that other release, it won't happen

next game to come could be parasite eve

Looks like they accidentally added the description from Lightning Returns OST Plus (catalog number is only one digit off).

Edit: Or maybe the descriptions are just really similar but a couple sentences are direct copy and paste. I don't know.

Well maybe they'll put some new track from FF15 (ex versus 13), like they did on that drammatica album. I need more music from that game. And the game itself. I'm waiting eight fucking years.

Just hoping though, no evidence whatsoever.

If I'm reading that tracklist right there's songs from Super Mario RPG, Mario & Luigi RPG 3 and Mario & Luigi RPG 4...

Now it has my attention.

I'm afraid the concert and CD are unrelated. "memoria!" will only feature tracks from Square Enix games.

Shimomura just shared a photo from the master CD on Twitter, you can see the names of the 10 first tracks:

But what is it? Just a compilation album? New recordings? New recordings plus some from Drammatica (or maybe various other CDs, ala Final Fantasy Orchestral Album)?

YESSSS! SUPER MARIO RPG!!!!!! My prayers have been answered! I jumped and clicked my heels when I found out this news. It was a travesty that her best game was omitted from her previous compilation.

Now let's see some arranged Mario & Luigi tracks, chop chop!

Well, Square had nothing to do with those games so we probably won't be seeing any tracks from that game series unfortunately.

While I appreciate the enthusiasm, I'm a little shocked to see a 5-star rating on this album when it's not out yet. :P

The full tracklist gets me excited though.

Anyone know what "Demons' Score" is?

It's a mobile title (running on Unreal Engine though) with rhythm action gameplay. Each character has its own composer attached.

Shimomura did Azazel.
