"DESPERADO" is a reprise from the first Summon Night, so if the credit for Pure Sound there is correct, then the specific composer is Minako Adachi because she was the only member of Pure Sound who wrote music for that one.

Presumably she's been snubbed because she works for Game Freak now.

I think I'd do the opposite haha, like

Megumi Komagata, Kiyoto Ohtani, Nobuo Kiyota, Pure Sound (Minako Adachi)

Basically listing them exactly the same way they're listed in the track-by-track breakdown in the notes, with the additional clarification of Adachi.

It would be kind of perverse for the only person grouped into Pure Sound to be the one person who no longer works there, though...

That's my problem right there, only her "grouped" as Pure Sound would look kinda... strange, in this situation xD
It would've been easier if she was simply named, oh well...

This is the common approach to credits for stuff owned by a company, as long as one is employed s/he can be named, once s/he left s/he no longer part of it and the generic company name replaces it. So yeah, perverted logic but the correct way.
