I linked one album to this new entry, but I think the rest of the Broken Notes series needs some work before they can be linked. I don't think attribution of composer/arranger/performer is correct on all of them, and it's probably unclear whether they are arrangements or remixes or just inspired until they someone can listen and compare.

Um...
http://www.broken-notes.com/about.html "Their goal was to create a fan album inspired by Akira Yamaoka's music for, at the time, Silent Hill 1 and Silent Hill 2." They're all fan-made albums inspired by the series' music, but aren't really remixes of any songs, as far as I can tell. Edit: Well, the first track of "Fan Soundtrack" does contain a remix of the SH1 theme. Last edited by Foxhack; Feb 21, 2012 at 05:47 PM. |

Yeah, so there are some arrangements and remixes that should be credited. Also, what confused me was the listing of Jason Gervais as a performer with no arranger credits. I think these albums need some checking.

The credits are at http://www.broken-notes.com/albums.html
They're all listed as "performers", not arrangers. Gervais was also an album mixer. So that probably caused the confusion. |
