Does anyone know if Falcom uses different CD cases (spine color) for the same enclosed album? I've seen a new copy of the Ys -21st Century- with a black spine on the CD case and one I believe that was clear in color.

The same goes for Ys Strategy enclosed soundtrack.

Well, my copy of Ys Strategy came in a clear CD case. There's always the possibility of a person transferring the CD to a different case, so if you're buying it on the used market, it's possible that any differences in the case may be due to the seller rather than the manufacturer.

Yeah, I was wondering if the CDs were being repackaged as the seller is claiming the soundtracks as new and unopened.

What's the deal with this album? Does it belong amongst the rarest and most expensive vgm?

Not really. It's a step behind Symphony Ys and Symphony Ys '95 in my opinion. It's not expensive from what I've seen: I think I bought my copy for 300 yen.
