There's some circular editing going on with the track times (dma & Metroid), so I think we need to discuss how these times are being measured.

Well anyway I fixed tracktimes of some, others will be fixed within time. I would eventually come back on this one too. The tracktimes are measured as individual tracks with gaps or without gaps which is dependent of how the CD was recorded. A small guide to newcomers would help this circular editing if that comes to happen again, 99% of albums I corrected tracktimes do not need to re-edit it. Again Statistics and edit tracking would help in this and other cases that might appear. I'm all for accuraterip log submission to help preventing this circular editing in the future. |

We do have edit histories, though they are kind of hard to find. If you click on the little arrow by the Last Edited by, you get this:
http://vgmdb.net/db/albums-history.php?id=1685 Anyway, August must have been before you were using the freedb then. Thanks for confirming the latest edits by dma. |

Thanks for the link now I know how to look the history of an album.
Hold on. I'm not sure if dma's edits are right after had seeing the edit history, like I said I use to cut gaps off not adding gaps. I will confirm tomorrow if the edits are right. |

The latest edit i made (few days ago) is based the actual original CD times.
It wasn't returned on freedb request before, and is after the edit. |

Updated it, as I recall when I ripped this CD I had set up to correct gaps, the difference was visible with 2 seconds almost each track, after the update I did now, looks like both ways will get the info from freedb. Zorbfish set up a 3 seconds each track so this will be just fine.
The TOC as the CD media was recorded. Code:
TOC of the extracted CD Track | Start | Length | Start sector | End sector --------------------------------------------------------- 1 | 0:00.00 | 5:50.15 | 0 | 26264 2 | 5:50.15 | 3:18.30 | 26265 | 41144 3 | 9:08.45 | 4:27.27 | 41145 | 61196 4 | 13:35.72 | 5:41.48 | 61197 | 86819 5 | 19:17.45 | 4:19.25 | 86820 | 106269 6 | 23:36.70 | 4:29.50 | 106270 | 126494 7 | 28:06.45 | 4:54.62 | 126495 | 148606 8 | 33:01.32 | 5:49.13 | 148607 | 174794 9 | 38:50.45 | 3:59.72 | 174795 | 192791 10 | 42:50.42 | 4:31.28 | 192792 | 213144 |

I've edited Masakiro to Masahiko based on this site:

According to this (as well as in this entry), the composers are Setsuo Yamamoto, Makoto Tomozawa, Yuki Iwai, Yuko Takehara, and Toshihiko Horiyama.
If none of the before mentioned composer are/were part of Alph Lyla (based on this), why aren't they credited in this album, but Alph Lyla instead? Is it explained in the liner notes? =P Edit: http://www.themmnetwork.com/wiki/ind...9#Game_Credits Setsuo > Setsuo Yamamoto Tomozou > Makoto Tomozawa Sato > Yuki Iwai (?) Yuko > Yuko Takehara Kirry > Toshihiko Horiyama (?)

Capcom Alpha Lyra is similar to Konami Kukeiha Club, in that it's just what the companies called their sound teams. It can be confusing because Alpha Lyra is also Capcom's in-house band (which also included a few sound team members). The composers for Rockman X are confirmed via the booklet in the Rockman X1-6 set.

I thought Toshihiko Horiyama was confirmed as a composer. Is there some new info for his removal?

We finally got a breakdown for MMX and Horiyama only wrote the password theme, so the removal's good.

I abandoned a post here a few days ago where I was listing the original composers for each song. But since I couldn't identify the source for the last track, and the rest are utterly transformed in any case, I guess it isn't that important!

I've been listening to this album for close to 11 years now and I still can't quite make out what "Epilogue-The Transient Silence ~ENDING STAGE~" is supposed to be an arrange of. I'm guessing it's a fusion of the Cast and Staff Roll but it's been heavily rearranged I can't trace it back to anything.

You got me there, I never picked up on the Snatcher cue but I've heard it since it's been mentioned. I suppose I hear it a little compared to the arrange... it's just heavily reimagined on here -- I would say the most distant from the original on the disc.
