Yes, they have different numbers, and since I'm new to this, I am puzzled. Is it primary number the DVD number (which is main release available for buying) or the CD number should be used which is a bonus disc and can't be bought separately? It maybe stupid question, but I really don't know...

If the entire package consists of audio CDs we'd put the package (DVD case) number, but since only the bonus disc is described in this entry, we'd put the disc number as the catalogue number.

Is the composer 'Kenji Miyazawa' the same as the author who originally wrote this story (same question for Pom Poko).

Yes, he is, at least I'm sure for this case, I don't know about Pom Poko. Although he was a poet, I suppose he had written a small melody for the first track, and since both tracks are just a capella (Ensemble Planeta's specialty is a capella singing), it figures.
