On a personal level, this is about the worst news ever. I spent a heck of a lot more than 30,000 y before shipping on the OSTs that will be part of this set, and all in the last 6 months. Hell, Akai Katana Shin alone cost me 7000.

Why? What little I've read so far doesn't indicate this item is only given to those preordering the game, or buying earlier printings.

That word per se means "Purchase Bonus", but it appears you're right. Asada's interview or Amazon's feedback says the soundtrack set is limited in numbers.

方がいらっしゃる件で、私自身も状況の把握と対応に
動いていましたが状況は把握しました。

付属していなかった原因と購入された方で付属していなかった
方の特定も出来ています。

Apparently each copy of Cave Shooting Collection comes with the Soundtrack Collection no matter where you buy it.

I am considering going down the CAVE rabbit hole. Any other important works not listed here? I am only familiar with the first ESPGALUDA which I love.

Generally speaking you'll miss a lot of the good stuff (DoDonPachi, Ketsui, Guwange etc.) if you're just getting this box. But it's a nice start of course.

Yeah, ESPGaluda is great and from what I've heard Galuda II and ESP ra de also have a great soundtrack.

Out of what isn't included I enjoy the original DDP, ESP Galuda, and Ibara the most and they did get individual soundtrack CD releases.
