The is now also available for pre-order from the Europe Square Enix store - limited to 150 copies.

OK, so I got two of these vinyls. One from the European store, which has an outer sticker sporting the code SQEX-FR01, and another one from the Japanese Square Enix store.
The odd thing is, the Japanese one comes with a letter and a third vinyl inside a black sleeve, and for all intents and purpose it does seem a second copy of the C and D side. Does anyone know why the second vinyl had to be pressed twice? |

They messed up the tracklist on Side D, therefor they did the second pressing.

Quoting the relevant blurb here for historical purposes
Quote:
They messed up the order of Side D track 1 and 2 and apologize and will thus ship corrected Side D pressings after December 22nd. A corrected Side D has a ★ in front of the catalog number on the vinyl, customers aren't required to return the original press. The small blob at the end that isn't in the quote above just says that they're going to use your personal information at the time of order to ship the new items and only for this and will be destroyed shortly thereafter to prevent unauthorized access or data breaches. It's worth noting that in most vinyl collecting communities, misprints are often more valuable than the corrected prints, so if you have a copy of the misprint it's worth holding on to. |

So the misprint is a perfectly functional, aurally pleasant record that only has the order of tracks messed up. And keeps the value.
Nice to hear |

Looks like this was made available to NA customers at some point but now there's a waiting list. So yeah. :/

The listing has been removed from the NA store. My hopes of ever owning this have been crushed.

Can an editor please link this album to the respective composer, arrangers, products pages, etc.?

Why isn't this LP a child of the CD? Then all dupe work would be unnecessary (the current credits are incomplete compared to the CD anyhow) and only the tracklist would need to be changed to account for the two sides.

Well, this does have the same amount of tracks, they're just arranged on 2 vinyls.
I think it's fine to merge since the content is the same. The only case were we don't make a child entry even if the track number is the same is when it's remastered, like this for example: http://vgmdb.net/album/53438 Last edited by Illidan; Sep 9, 2016 at 08:57 PM. |
