APCG-4030: Symphonic Synth Suite "46okunen Monogatari"

What's the official stance on the romaji field? If this is to represent the pronunciation of non-katakana words, going with Yonjûrokuokunen would probably be more informative to English readers than 46okunen.

I already have "PLCE-902" (which seems to be based on the PC-98 version) and I'm considering to grab "APCG-4030" (which is based on the SNES version). I compared the tracklists for both releases and it seems most tracks are the same...

Are they different recordings?

Does it make any sense to get "APCG-4030" if I already have "PLCE-902"?

Tracks 8, 9, 12 and 14 on APCG-4030 (SNES) replace tracks 2, 9 and 12 and 13 on PLCE-902 (PC-98).

Both albums use a different synthesizer but they're both pretty bad. I generally prefer the PLCE-902 one in spite of the softer strings on APCG-4030.

For the "identical" tracks: Track 4 in particular I prefer on PLCE-902 and there's not a single track on APCG-4030 which I consider vastly superior.

However, I much prefer the tracks exclusive to APCG-4030, probably because I'm more familiar with the SNES music.

Overall I'd still advise against getting APCG-4030 if you already have PLCE-902.
