edit: actually that 2005 date is when you can replace that labelgate cd for a non-labelgate cd
even if it seems to be strange, a lot of other labelgate cds have the same thing

And this CD is that non-labelgate CD. Most of the low-numbered SVWC-73## series are labelgate replacements, and they all seem to have become available in 2005.

the problem is shops have the 2004 release dates except tsutaya, but tsutaya have labelgate when it shouldn't (so I wonder)
that replacement date should be used even if shops and sony don't use it?

edit: ok, I reverted my revert, even if it's more logical, it's not very shop-accurate imo

Also, look at the release dates of the SVWC albums. They were still using SVWC-72## well into 2005, so I don't think they would jump ahead and grab some number in the SVWC-73## range just to simultaneously release some non-labelgate CDs. I'm pretty sure these came much later after people complained when the protection scheme prevented the CDs from working in some drives. I'm pretty sure the shops are wrong on this one. It fits into the pattern with the other reprints.

they changed the jan codes but not the release dates for all their SVWC-73xx releases, it's a bit strange regardless
but if so, that doesn't really surprise me, I saw some errors by publishers

I'm reminded of the case of EGG MUSIC RECORDS albums, which are often printed with the event pre-release date, not the actual release date. The guidance there was to use the date that was printed but put the real release date in the notes. Is this situation different because this specific version of the album wasn't released in 2004?

basically, LabelGate cds are like cancelled releases no?
as far as I saw, those releases got reprints, it could have a sort of "LabelGate" release date status with a green message saying the release got stopped and reprinted or something
